Short, in plain English, and honest, the same way the rest of this site works.

What we collect
- Booking and contact details, name, organisation, role and email, when you book a call or send a note. Used to respond to you and for nothing else.
- Distribution list, your email address, if you subscribe. Used to send dispatches. Unsubscribe links in every email. Never shared or sold.
- Basic analytics, aggregate page statistics to understand what's read. No advertising trackers.
What we deliberately don't collect
The interactive gadgets on this site (the 2am Drill, the Pre-Mortem, the Essential Eight Pulse) run entirely in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted, stored or visible to us. The "email me this brief" function composes an email in your own mail client; nothing passes through our systems.
Email subscriptions and analytics scripts
Our subscription forms and email delivery are operated by MailerLite, with processing in the United States and the European Union. If you subscribe, your email address is stored with MailerLite and used solely to send you our dispatches; this involves disclosure of that address overseas, with safeguards, as contemplated by APP 8. Subscription is voluntary and constitutes consent under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth); every email contains a working unsubscribe link, actioned promptly. The MailerLite script on this site may set cookies to make the subscription form function. Bookings made through our scheduling page are processed by Microsoft 365.
Storage and security
This is a static website served over HTTPS. Contact and booking information is held in Microsoft 365 (Australian tenancy) and protected accordingly. We retain correspondence only as long as needed for the engagement or as law requires.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, at any time: email us. Complaints can also be made to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).
